I really want to see Team Kukri. They have a great “anime” style that works on so many projects!

By the way, for 3mm scale mechs:

Ironwind Metals “Battleforce Scale”
Dream Pod 9 “Fleet Scale”
GZG 6mm scale Infantry Walkers
Vanguard Cybershadow Robots, Gladiators, Stalkers, and Light Walkers

It is good thing it takes so long...it gives us a chance to keep up!

Some customer insight on 3mm sci-fi sales...I started a 3mm sci-fi project last year. As a long time customer of yours with at least 8 MW armies, I actually passed on your 3mm sci-fi offerings and went with vanguard instead. Even though I really like Javelin’s designs better- Pico Armor and Vanguard both have a lot more options for their 3mm forces with infantry, aircraft and walkers. Most sci-fi rulesets include these, especially infantry. In the end I went with ordering all my 3mm from a single source. Pretty good competition at the moment for the 3mm sci-fi niche. Anyways, the lack of infantry and nice alternatives is what made the difference for me, not sure if others did the same

Glad to hear the 3mm buildings are still in the works. There is not much competition for 3mm buildings with a sci-fi vibe. Brigade has a nice set of 2mm buildings, but the scale difference is really noticeable, they look tiny next 3mm.

I actually went for all three! PicoArmor infantry plays nice with Microworld vehicles. Vanguard plays best in its own sandbox as it’s a line not comparable to any other - it’s unique unto itself. If you passed on Microworld 3mm scale you made a mistake - the castings are crisp and the aesthetics are excellent. You should reconsider!

Well I’m hopeful the range will continue to expand, I sure you are right Mr. Average! I was just pointing out my own personal experience, as I considered all three lines quite a bit before deciding. It’s good to know that Pico scales well, at least there is a good infantry option out there. I’ll probably start a new MW project this spring, it sounds like there might be a few choices to pick from!

I’m not usually so pushy but they’re really great figures. Seriously.

No worries Mr. Average, your 3mm projects are what got me interested in the scale to start with. And Microworld is what got me back into the hobby a decade ago. I wish I had more time to devote to projects.

I thought people wouldn't be too interested in infantry at this scale given that they could just pick some up from O8, which shows what I know :)

The 3mm organics sculptor is sort of ensconced in fantasy stuff right now, but I could probably have him bang out some generic infantry to go with the lines.

Here is a quick comparison shot of 3mm elf spears and archers with some O8 Romans.

Bases will be reduced by 30% prior to production.
