So, I was thinking about the Dark Alliance, and I thought maybe they should have a set opponent. So, some emails and some concept art later, the very talented Jared Blando drew these up based on some of my requests.

The army as a whole is going to have a Teutonic Knight / Crusader kind of vibe. There are definitely units planned that I didn't get art made for. In terms of release schedule, I'm not sure where they will fall, as I am kind of committed to releasing an Elven Kingdom army after the Dark Alliance. I was also considering possibly some Wererats in late 2014 since I have gotten a few requests on them. Anyway, check out the art below.

These guys are one step up from the basic foot for the army, the professional soldiers if you will.


This is the most basic elite for the army, kind of like elite warrior paladins


I envisioned these guys as 7 feet tall elite warriors for the army.

I think I want to have 2 classes of angel in the army. One 6mm tall armed with basic hand weapons, and another unit, called Archangels or some such that are 10mm tall and have big 2- handed blades, like the below:



Finally here is one of the centerpiece units. A war Altar, which I may or may not decide to have grow in size a little.

I love all of them except the war alter. I think this is more of a keep than an altar and all around bizarre for my tastes.

I agree, I think in miniature form I will have the altar be a bit bigger/wider, and be drawn by at least 4 horses. Any more and I don't think it would fit on a 40x40.
