In Epic, by the letter of the rules, it just needs to be a designated point on the battlefield. However, we are wargamers, and are occasionally OCD about this..... Most people have objectives modelled. For my Ork army, I have a huge pile of loot, a Shaman in mid-ritual and a collection of distillery gubbins buildings as my three objectives. All are on 15cm bases and all have a flag in them - which will be red, green and blue when I get round to painting them to allow me to 'race for the blue objective' - which is where units are measured from to see if they control the objective.

Cool.
Food for thought.
I will make some odds and sods as objectives.

They will be much smaller than 15cm though as that will cost quite a bit in resin and stuff and I think people will not want to spend £15.00 for an objective that they need several of at that price.

I will do this tomorrow if the mother in law will look after my daughter for a few hours.

Yes, you could make some (alien)Objectives/Small Structures/ etc. ... the ones that G/W makes are only about say ... 25mm x 25mm plus or minus ... http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catal ... GameStyle=

15cm? That's huge, CS!

The objectives sold by GW are in the 25-30mm square range. Generally I see objectives in this general size, though anything up to a 60mm round base is fairly common.

Ok that's a bit more sane. I would be happy to pay 15 GBP for something 15cm across!

I am going to continue my resin making adventure by making some terrain suitable for alien worlds.

There seems to be little choice currently, with many people using regular Earth terrain and or fish tank decorations.

I want to make something that is generic enough to be used on many alien planets but also something simple enough that my limited modelling and casting skills can handle.

I have one idea that I think is a winner but would like to see other suggestions.

So, fire away please>>

In 6mm id like to see generic civvies, refugee types, carrying bags, overloaded vehicles, carrying all their worldly possessions, running to escape the alien invasion, or to secure a place on one of the few remaining transport ships off world.

cool missions for your troops, protect/escort the civil population to the evacuation points, or destroy/devour/eat the local population.....

Oh, and news teams, embedded news teams that your troops have to keep safe, or have to silence before the word is spread about a surprise attack etc...

Steve. :)

Project Junkers is my new main thing once the RDF's APC is cast.
I have a few one offs coming out soon but Project Junkers will be a small themed set of products that sit in the background of my FUBAR game world but can very easily be moved to any sci-fi world.
