Right. A difference of 0-1, each side loses one team; a difference of +2 or +3, the lower roll loses one team; +4 or +5, lower roll loses 2 teams, etc.

Im reading on p.30-31 and I see that the loser of close combat removes a team as a casualty for every multiple of 2 they are beat by. Per the text on p. 31, 2nd-to-last paragraph: "e.g. removing an additional team when difference is more than 2, 2 teams when it is more than 4, etc." The example on p.31 shows one side being beaten by 3 but they only remove one casualty. Oh, I see...the word "additional" is throwing me. Get beaten by 2 or 3, lose 1 team. 4 or 5, lose 2, etc...OK, sorry but just wanted to make sure I had it. |
