Clarifying some apparent typos in the Skunk Works Construction pages:

P.35: "Tracked/Slow" is listed as "10%". Every other items has "BHV" following that...I assume this should too?

P.42, under "Weapon Cost" chart: "Emulator" has a Cost Modifier of .1, but it looks like maybe this should be just '1'? The example seems to lend credence to this.

<Note: I see that Wheeled and Wheeled/Slow have the same cost...as does Tracked and Tracked/Slow. Any reason for this other than fluff? Tracked/Slow, at least, has a Tech Level break, but Wheeled is already TL1, so no break for the /Slow version...>

And yes, KJ, my mind is JUST about blown...every time I get some formula or something working the way I like, I get to the next item and experience this:

:nooo

LOL...its why this is taking so long, so I can take a few days' break before hitting the next problem again!

1. Yes.
2. No, 0.1 is correct (creates a 10% surcharge when calculated correctly).
3. Kinda tough to distinguish on the wheeled/slow, unless you think of this as late 19th/early 20th-century vs. mid-20th century wheeled ICE vehicles.
4. All part of my plan to rule the world through fear, terror, and liberal use of the Comfy Chair. 8P

Ahh, so the Emulator is a 1.1 multiplier, or 110%. I just need to know what to multiply the BHV cost by to get its final cost.

Thanks! Comfy chairs unit!

Oops. I just re-read this; the example to the right of the text should read "multiply by .6".

However, the remainder of the instructions are correct:

1. Total all trait modifiers (EX: quad mount + rapid fire + emulator = 1.35).
2. Multiply by the current point cost of the weapon (not the BHV).
3. Add the amount derived in step 2 to the running point total for the weapon.

EX: a d10 range band 10 weapon (10 * 50 = base 500 pts, 8 hard points) is made a Disruptor weapon, giving a running total of (500 * 1.5 =) 750 points.

To give it the quad mount, rapid fire, and emulator traits would increase the cost of the weapon by (750 * 1.35 =) 1012.5, rounded up to 1013.

Adding 1013 to 750 gives the new running point total for the weapon (1763, and also uses 16 hard points) before adjusting the point cost for firing arcs.

In order to skip a step, make each of those cost modifiers a "1.x", so Emulator is 1.1, no 0.1. Still add everything up, then multiply for total cost (no adding required).

Just fyi :) Thanks for the clarification though.
