Tech Level of Sharmor, etc

I see that in Skunk Works, it introduces new types of armor (beyond Basic, Reactive, Active, etc). The list in the construction rules doesnt reference the Tech Levels required for each type. I am about to go through the rules looking for them for details, as I didnt see them in SW at all...they must be in one of the other two modules?

Do they have TL associated with them?

Yes. Basic Sharmor/Sharmor/Advanced Sharmor have TL of 6/7/8, respectively.

It's a contraction of 'Shielded Armor', which has the game properties of both shields and armor; the numeric rating represents the level of protection for both functions (a sharmor rating of 6 is the equivalent of both a shield rating and an armor value of 6). One of the advantages of sharmor is the vehicle doesn't require a separate system entry for shields, leaving more space (system points) to install additional equipment in a vehicle during the design process.

The main rulebook covers TL3-6; 2 and 7 are in Module One; 1 and 8 are in Module Two. Skunk Works adds new rules/systems options, solitaire play rules, and a consolidated unit construction section that covers all options from the entire series. :)
