Hello!
I've just had a quick look at ospreys steampunk soldiers book before it goes to st nick, and it's brilliant! So I was wondering if there is any future plans for the timeline range?
Thanks!

Hi there,

We're looking at putting out a new version of the rulebook fairly shortly to incorporate the last year's worth of feedback, otherwise we don't have any immediate plans to expand the range (though our ears are open).

Hi
Thanks for the reply! That's a shame, although I understand with your defeat in detail commitments. The one particular drawing that grabbed my attention was a Chinese soldier in exoskeleton of steam powered bamboo! They don't show any landships however but I think you have nailed the steampunk genre with what you have started.

As far as i'm aware this game system and the models for it has been dropped but I could be wrong.

There are no current plans for developing the Timeline 300 range; frankly it never sold well enough to be worth further investment, which I personally think is a shame as we had a lot of fun designing and playing it.

10mm is a hard sell, it seems!

Yeah it was a real pity. I think we made a misstep going for 10mm.

6mm would have had crossover appeal, and All Quiet on the Martian Front did pretty well with a larger scale some years later. Nobody likes 10mm. :-)

Yes very true with 10mm, it seems a case of why go 10mm when you can have 6mm or why go 10mm when you can go 15mm :-[ Still using some of your martian tripod legs for some of my conversions though ;)

When it comes to Aliens ... 6mm and 10mm are quite compatible, IMO. They are Aliens after all ... ^-^

Think the grey aliens scale was decent to use with smaller stuff, think it was more zee germans and the british minature scales that may of been its down fall regarding sales due to scaleing in 10mm think that is what E and C means. L4

Random thought: I happen to have taken possession of the T300 stock out of long-term storage. Shall I put it back up for sale again?
