The Orc plan consisted of three elements. First, BG1 would head straight and fast for the Blitz objective. Second, BG2 would go for the T&H objectives in the town. Third, and most important, battlegroups 3 and 4 would occupy the center space to the east of the river, with missions to disrupt the enemy deployment (BG4) and to harass and tie down the enemy main forces (BG3). The idea was to fight for all the objective-based goals.

Everyone but BG2 would go in as deep and as fast as possible. BG 2 would be one turn behind the others, hopefully in position to exploit any glaring weakness in the human deployment.
