Gah, I'm just going to call you both Zombochaos or possibly Evil and Zombo. Evilcom?

Sorry.

Evilcom sounds good. I It will go up there with merged names like Brangelina.

LI, glad to see you still exist. I apologize for the lack of movement on the Xenos Project. That was entirely my fault and the result of real life inserting itself into my gaming time. I will do my best to playtest Xenos some more and give some more feedback.

For the record, LI and I worked on the Xenos list and he was quite open to changing things when the data supported it. Playing the list is a sure fire way to getting a champ to listen to you more.

Quote:
Consider a unit of 4 Grey Knight Terminators. They need to lose three stands to break due to ATSKNF. The final stand breaks... but what good does Fearless do? A single broken stand with ATSKNF actually can't be auto-popped by the automatic BM from being fired upon, so Fearless actually has zero effect on a Terminator formation unless the enemy uses disrupt weapons. Fearless really only works on large formations or (the big benefit) when in combat (which is reasonable as the GKs typically take on much bigger foes than themselves).

Fair points made. I see Fearless as unnessesary with ATSKNF, however I will concede to playtests on this one.

Your complaint is based on theoryhammer. If you really can't pursuade opponents to play because of a perceived problem with Fearless then that's an issue but if you can playtest then I'm confident you won't see a big problem.

2011 will be the year I get to play these guys now.

I, also, have a Sisters list in various stages of assembly, and a friend who hates the Eldar and wont play Epic with me if I use them. Ergo, I promise to post more Sisters playtests this Fall, now that summer has come and gone.

Okay. I apologise if I came across as a bit snarky but back-to-the-drawing-board is not something I want to consider. The models are cool, believe me I'm very happy that people want to move forward with the lists and are actually playing (or planning to play) with them. I will tear the lists apart if necessary ... but I'm not even going to consider it (unless someone has a really crazy genius idea) without playtesting. Lots, not just a single game either. As Mosc says, I'm very happy to make changes to the list ... but based on experience.

If there's real desire to playtest it can be done with cardboard counters or on VASSAL if the servers are still there.

If need be, I will do Vassal games to get some earlier games in.

I have some time off at the start of November. I plan on getting around 7 games in for different forces, however if people want a Vassal game, I would be happy to take or play against the Grey Knights list for 1 game (or two if I could be so bold). :)

Okay, well, maybe I can arrange something at the start of November then, if we can get the time-zone-difference to permit!
