I mainly want to know because I'm about to start gluing my new sisterhood minis, and I'd like to know the stability of any changes. My 28mm sisters army has already had too many conversions and weapon swaps brought about by codex changes so I'm just ultra careful where sisters are concerned
Well (I have been asked this question before can't remember were it's so I'm happy to do it again) my reasons are the heavyflamers better fit the retributors role on the battle field as close support heavy weapon specialists. It also better represents the lists theme as a whole, with area clearance weapons and aggressive advancing tactics used to overwhelm their preferred enemy (cultists and other heretic scum).
The retributors are veteran sisters who through faith have turned to the employment of heavy weapons, with seniority they develop their skills in the use of heavybolters, heavyflamers and multi-meltas.
. I'll have to check through some batreps too ,to see how the different units work together.
