Hi all, I'm down with the 3rd phase of the flu (cough + congestion + a feeling that a Leviathan - a real one - has landed on my head) and reading One flew over the cuckoo's nest. Terrific book. Now I've come to the part where the patients play Monopoly, with lots of messing about with the rules. It's my favourite brand of Monopoly, by the way, with my preferred role Being that of a bank willing to subsidize underdogs. ? Anyway - I got this idea here, and thought someone might want to try it out. Ever played Epicopoly? You can use any old board, but if you prefer, you may replace the street names with places on Armageddon. The pieces are marine or Imperial or Ork tanks, and if you want to go the whole hog, give superheavies a -1 move penalty and light buggies etc. a +1. If the pieces land on the same square, then you get a combat. If they're a square away, firefight. If they're more than 1 square away and less than 5 away, you may shoot with any ranged weapons. Any destroyed vehicle will land its owner in jail, only its called a vehicle dump here, and a loss of 200 pounds. The vehicle will be replaced from the dump stockpile. Ideally, the chest fund and chance cards will be replaced by the likes of 'orbital bombardment - pay 100 pounds for a power sheild or roll a save'. the power station and waterworks are ok as they are, as are the railway stations (or make them spaceports). As for the houses and hotels, well, one can build barracks and fortifications. And anyone landing there will have to pay cash for ammo to be able to break through. Or something. Any thoughts? And how would a titan feature?

Epicopoly.... I like it! The Chance and Community Chest cards would need revamping also to reflect the Epic theme, kind of like Star Wars Monopoly.
