Hi!

I have uploaded updated files on the Heresy Core rules, Chaos, Space marine, Ork and Imperial Guard army books.

The updates consist of the addition of all new models from Forgeworld as well as those listed in Epic A.

I am currently making the Tau list for Heresy as well as updating the unit formulas (which are very outdated).

I must admit that i have yet to try a game of Heresy but it looks very nice. I must see if i can get a friend up to play a game or two.

Hi!

Thanks Warmaster Nice!

Heresy is almost as old as net epic (about 6 years). It started innocently enough, Kenneth (the net epic mailing list owner) and myself chated for untold hours over ICQ when real time chat was still new (back in 1998). We started from scratch and took ideas from DSII, Epic 40k and Warzone.

The core rules are pretty solid in the opinions of people who have tried it, heck a PHD in mathematics actually made the assault tables so they'd yield "mathematically sound" results. I dont presume to understand or debate with that, suffice that they seem to work.  :D

If you get a game in I would love to hear your views and input. Such input has made the core mechanics better over the years.

At this stage I muse over the army lists incessantly, tweaking points and making sure unit skills make the grade and change where necessary.

I will be putting out a battle report on it at some point with a proper breakdown of the rules.

Not trying to play necromancer here, but I went looking for Heresy and the links are DEEEEAAAAD.

Yeah, I just found a path to get to it myself.

Only the IG link and the SOB link is dead.

Still, it's better to most of it than none of it.

If you download the "Heresy Complete" rulebook you get all the rules and army books (including IG).
