I'm not sure where to post this question, but I'm guessing someone will point me to the correct place if needed. Does anyone know where I could find a copy of the Adeptus Titanicus rules? I'm looking for the original set. A PDF copy would be great if anyone knows a link. Thanks! |

I too am looking for early rules. I've found the Fanatic issue 85 Rules for AT on the net, but are these just updates to the rules, or the full rules with updates. It states "Updates rules for Titan on Titan action, covering Imperial Titans and Super Heavy Tanks." I'm happy to buy the full rules, I don't want something for nothing, but am a little unclear. EDIT, I think I've just answered my own question? The Fanatic mag was the amended and updated rules that are AT2? |

I believe it was for AT2 yes, which originally came out in an issue of the Epic 40,000 magazine before epic armageddon was released. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk |

Thanks for that. I'm reading over old rules systems, and it gets a bit confusing! |

The AT and Codex Titancus as well as SM1 rules were pretty good. But they were changed to a poorer system with SM2/TL. These systems made a game that "simplified" things, etc., ... And played into GW's concept of making a game where there are so many units on the table it looked Napoleonics or the ACW. Not a modern of even futuristic war game. And in turn GW could sell more models so you could have a game was nothing more than both sides line up and run into the middle and use close combat weapons. ![]() |

I'm in the process of "updating" the SM1/AT rules. Preserving the feel, while updating the more "sketchy" parts of the ruleset. For example it was clear from the WD articles that close combat was evolving to what the SM2 rules used, however I will preserve the armor save permitted in CC that SM2 discarded (thus evaluating units like terminators in the process). I've streamlined and updated the wonderful morale rules (heroic actions!) and introduced flier and psychic rules into the existing turn framework. The only real "license" I took was to base it on a "2d6" system instead of "1d6" to allow for greater granularity and eliminate the need for fiddly rules to differentiate units because the d6 was too narrow. I'll be using the SM1 "organizational chart" method for army building, although cleaned up significantly. The heavy lift of course is to include the wealth and breadth of new units since AT/SM1 publishing. I already feel it may be the my system of choice. ![]() Primarch |

Hi! Those will be a base, but will be redone to include the updated concepts introduced. Primarch |
