Well my mate certainly set the battle field up as plains, with little cover (5/6 woods). Another titan fest.

My mate deployed all bunched in one corner, and after previous bashings i have had at barrage missile launchers i deployed pretty spread out.

Turn 1
Wethered the storm of barrage missile launchers, only loosing one warlord to the volcano/quake cannon follow ups.

My vortex missiles not great with only one being effective, although it did strip the shields of one titan, and at the end of the turn it stayed there and damaged the titan taking it out I had already taken the stripped shield titan out. My few warp missiles missed and only caused minor damage.

My warhound dets were doing well taking an objective each.

End of turn 3 - 31 vs 8 to me

Not a great turn for me, as having to move my titans into firing range. my warhounds grabbed another objective and my reaver bg armed with close combat weapons was trying to get in close. My mate took one out and also a warhound. he also managed to get one warlord bg past the vortex that was in front of them.

Many of my titans were still out of range, and my centre warlords just getting peppered with fire, thankfully alot of low rolls saved them.

End turn 2 - 49 vs 16 to me

My 2 close combat reavers get in although their wreckers miss!! in close combat one looses and gets head damage, the other wins and deals head damage to the warlord.

I manage to get another warlord as in range of my other titans, although finally one of my centre ones gets shot to bits unable to repair its reactor.

End turn 3 - 62 vs 24

All in all managed to weather the storm, took all the objectives and killed more than what i lost. my mate lost 5 warlords in all as one couldn't move of the battlefield as failed its roll due to its damaged head. I lost 2 warlords a reaver and a warhound. If i can keep this up vs his titan armies I may well hold my North East sector as attrition working in my favour at present.
