Post subject:  Epic Space Marine battle reports
I am looking for official GW battle reports for Epic Space Marine.

I already have Space Marine Battles, which contains a number of them:
Chaos at Kadavah (Chaos vs Blood Angels)
The Battle for Golgotha (Orks vs Squats)
Assault on Barbarius (Imperial Guard vs Eldar)
unnamed with Alaitoc vs Blood Angels

However, I think I am missing at least one more which features Orks vs Chaos (with a Banelord Titan). I have a White Dwaf somewhere which announces it for the next issue.
If any of you have this one or other official battle reports not mentioned above available, please post here or send me a PM.

There are more than this if you count some of the specialist scenario battles (the breakout game with Chaos versus Eldar which featured the first appearance of the Nurgle Daemon Engines and Slaanesh Kinights).

There are also the Epic battle reports from the Titan Legions era, starting in WD179 (the one with the Imperator Titan on the front cover), and continuing into the 180s/190s, with the apperance of the Tyranids in a battle report for the first time.

The Orks vs Chaos game you refer to was designed to showcase the Banelord and the three new Khorne Daemon Engines. I think that it was WD164, but don't quote me on that, as I'm going purely by memory. When I'm next back in Hertfordshire, I can check for you, as that's where all my old White Dwarf issues are stored, and I also have the Epic index.

Send me a PM at the start of April to remind me if nobody else has plugged the gaps by then :).

If you follow the above link it lists all articles (including battle reports) that were produced for Epic throughout it's lifetime.

Bloodbath on Centius Prime (Chaos vs Orks) (WD 168)
Inferno (Legio Metalica vs. Orks) (WD 179)
Abomination! (Imperium vs Tyranids) (WD 184)
Stomp an' Smash! (Legio Metalica vs. Orks) (WD 188)
Reign of Fire! (Orks vs. Blood Angels) (WD 197)

I also have a battle for the original SM in issue 136 (Valedictors 3rd Regiment(SM) vs Burzuruk's Bad Boyz(Ork)) which has a Capitol Imperialis in it - the only time ive seen it used in White Dwarf. So there may be more reports than you have listed.

Yes, but that is for the earlier edition. I'm not interested in that one.

That Chaos versus Eldar one with the Nurgle and Slaanesh Daemon Engines/Knights isn't in that list, but that's probably the only one I can think of that's still missing.

There were 4 Reports in the Epic Battles book
Chaos VS Marines
Squats VS Orks
Eldar VS IG
and another one which I forgot


I might have 2 copies of the white dwarf with that Orks VS Chaos battle
