I remember reading somewhere (either here or on BGG) that there was different box arts for Space Marine (second edition), but haven't seen it anywhere. Whilst looking through eBay last night I finally found a picture of the other version of the box art. Does anybody have any idea why the different art, was the more stylized one to tie in with Titan Legions? Apologies if this is quite well known, but i've never found a picture so I thought I would share!

I'm guessing the fancier lettering was an attempt to tie it closer to TL, like you said. Either that or maybe it was sold in a different country. I definitely had the first box, and remember fondly the days of pop-up-Falcon-death spam.

I think the second box was just an update of the Space Marine logo to include the "EPIC" label to show that it was part of the family of EPIC games. I believe that the other epic boxes got the same treatment.
