We were talking and the subject of "lost" races etc. came up. I remember they did a couple of Slann figures with 40k weapons. Did they just fade or did they get cut out like the squats? dafrca |

Whilst this is a self admitted "fluff hole" in my knowledge base (  ) I belive they just quietly dissappeared. Not chopped quite as brutally as our more diminutive humanoids, they seemed to just never re-appear as the background heavily suggested they were going to.Of course I might be wrong and the whole lizardmen thing going on at GW now may change that...

I have some Pendraken 10mm Lizardmen, they may end up as Slann as Primarch has suggested (?) ! Or some how attached to my Exodites ?!

The Slann just disappeared like the old Pygmies ( I liked 'em). I think that part of the problem is that the Slann were the "Old Ones" and it was problematical having them around and not having them missing as an enigma. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

Hi! While there were some Slann figures done, there were never any organized army lists as there were for the Squats. The Slann just dropped from sight once the rules edition after Rogue Trader appeared. There are hints here and there that the Slann were the race that made the webway that the Eldar use and that the Eldar were their favored race. Not much else out their beyond the NetEpic fluff that was created for them. Primarch. |

Hi! I think they'd do better than just "work". In the netpeic fluff, lizardmen, known as "dracon" form part of the "exodite" slann forces. They even have some units that are savy enough to use real big heavy weapons! Primarch |

for those that wonder what Space Slann look like Space Slann from the Stuff of Legends they were "weird" models from the RT era; never appealed to me though they now go for silly money on eBay (even more than those Epic Eldar sprues...)

Hi! I would feel to bad about that Dafrca, at one time I had every single model for 40k, back in rogue trader days. When I decided 40k wasn't for me I not only sold them off extremely cheaply, but even gave them away. So dont feel bad.  Primarch |

Hi! The guy who created the netepic fluff figured that anphibians and lizards would get along better than with humans so he figured exodites would ally with primitive lizardmen tribes who would then "get tecky" with some weaponry. Every advanced sci-fi culture seems to have a brawny, not too smart counterpart for grunt work, lizardmen seemed to fill that niche for the slann. Primarch |
