There was a neat 6 player Sh game at Adepticon this year : 4 Marines players trying to locate and extract an Inquisitor from a Hulk, defended by 2 Stealer players. Looks like a lot of fun in a game that went right down to the wire: http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=7081.0 |

man SH is about the only reason I'd consider buying GW at this point. With the rules basically running rampant out there and plenty of available sci fi corridor systems it's great. thanks for sharing! |

The Creative Gamescapes stuff is pretty cool. I think 15mm would look great in it if you can live with the huge floor treads and wall rivets. The doors would probably need to be swapped out though. |

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or not. I like it and find it conveys a huge amount of theme and atmosphere with some pretty simple rules. The timed Marine turns really pushes the frantic tone across. That was my biggest issue with the pictured game though, the Marines didn't have a timer. The result was what seemed like ENDLESS deliberation, especially from the Grey Knights player. I finished my turns in a couple of minutes, working over half the board. That guy had us waiting for 10+ minutes each turn controlling five guys in a two foot area. |

Got any extra pics? What rules were they using for all the extra models types? (Great to them them on the table too!) I love multiplayer SH games, its the best way to play it I think. I agree, the timer is a key feature, as it the extra time you get for having savvy Sgts on the table. |

The pics you linked to are mine, I'm Dave on this forum and the SG forum. From memory: Hormagaunts were Stealers you could hit on a 4+, rolled two dice in combat and subtracted -1 from the highest. Warrirors you could only hit on the sustain, they had Parry and added +2 to the highest roll. Carnifex was like Warrior but need two hits to kill . It also got to add the lowest die rolled to its combat score. |

http://www.creativegamescapes.com/#!shop/cjg9 Also because they are the coolest ones on the market (well... soon to be), do check out Bug Hunt Corridors. They've fulfilled the kickstarter so stuff's starting to become available for general purchase. Expensive as hell; Cool as crap. http://www.fantasyarc.com/ |

Chaplain was a Sergeant with +2 to his combat roll and a 4+ save. Inquisitor was all that, plus a digi weapon that killed anything before it attacked on a 6. |

Thanks Dave - really great to see of those old models get back onto the table! What I would really love to see are some updated rules for Genestealer Hybrids and...Chaos Marines! |

I love Space Hulk.... Almost as good as Advanced Space Crusade! ![]() At one point I hoovered up as many sets of the boards on eBay as I could find and ended up with 3 first edition, one each of the two 1st ed expansions, and a couple of second edition.... then I bought third edition when it was released on GW Mail Order. However, I dont like the clock, and its the only first edition rule that I leave out. I dont like to take forever deciding on the plan, but with two people who agree thats not such a massive problem. I do hate to have made dumb moves or missed models entirely because I ran out of time though, and personally this leads to a less satisfying game, but I can see how the clock could add to the tension. |
