It seems ok to me, played a few games of it, more options seem feasible and big units have more purpose.
The line of sight rules aren't great though.

they got me, with there darn high elves in the starter box. bought my first fantasy battle figs since the mid 90's,oh no ! :D

We have just started playing it as well after ~10 years and having quite a lot of fun.

We cannot get enough actually. It is a good reprieve from the Epic games that have been the staple for the past 2 years.

I agree. You really get tat feeling (even though it is a money spin) that some quality is coming back into the hobby. If the book is anything like the older Realm of Chaos books with a good story throughout and not just a hard back version of the soft back book, it is bound to become a sought after collection in years to come.

Then again,I am probably setting myself up for a big disappointment :(
