I've gotten about a dozen requests to do a Stormbird, which is awkward, because I generally despise the Forgeworld Stormbird. So, I took the basic shape and revised it more to my own taste. I know not everyone will be a fan, but I like how it turned out. This thing is freaking huge -- almost six inches from wingtip to wingtip. It's probably going to cost a fortune to print through Shapeways, so I'll probably sell the STL file itself through CGTrader, for folks who want to print their own. Great job! It has a nice silhouette (top) - very purposeful. |

Will it also be available via Shapeways as well for those of us without printers? I would buy at least two. There are multiple marks of the Stormbird (inc. the Khonsu and Apophis) - the Sokar is one of the smallest - if not the smallest. Thanks! Rob |

Here's the Shapeways link: http://shpws.me/QwEr And the CGTrader link: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-model ... y-dropship The Shapeways model turned out to be really expensive. I can try to bring the price down, but with all the recent materials changes, I'm still getting a sense for how the new pricing algorithms work. Moredakka, I'll work on making a 3mm version! |

Just wanted to add an update to this post. I have uploaded the STL file to CGTrader.com, and while doing that, I split it up into pieces to make it easier to print for printers with smaller print beds. https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-print-model ... y-dropship |
