Still nothing...

Thanks for the support BH. I'm most disapointed for my friend "M" who has done most to promote epic around here to players who didn't already have old GW collections - building his armies up almost entirely with new proxies and showing new players what is available nowadays. Unfortunately he's had problems with all 3 "epic" orders he's made! Thankfully he's been the exception and almost everyone else has had good experiences with the epic community. At the end of the day it's just toys, but it leaves a sour taste.

What I would say (and have repeatedly said to TMG) is I have a small but significant collection of TMG miniatures and almost without exception the quality of the product has been excellent. I don't want to put anyone off ordering TMG via Vanguard (and may well do so myself in the future) and have had nothing but good experiences trading with MoreDakka in the past. I'm upset that this has coincided with the setting up of Vanguard, but assumed that this would be a last resort which would resolve the situation swiftly for my friends. Please give Vanguard all the support you can and I hope the TMG range achieves its potential under MD's stewardship (and onslaught too of course!)

Blip mate thanks for the vote of confidence and support it's well received.

My TMG order will be coming direct from the casting company so I anticipate no real problems except the wait of course. The DiD range will be available through my store for as long as you guys keep collecting it. I can't promise a huge stock level at least not yet but I will try to keep everything available or at least re-ordered if I run out.

Ben's decision to move on as it happens has been a fortunate occurance for me personally as it has allowed me to add the DiD range to my inventory when it probably would not have happened otherwise. I feel i've made a good move jumping in here and keeping the range on the market. I know it has done wonders for visitor traffic on my site at the very least.

Thanks guys for all the support, interest and orders.

Cheers John

If you get hold of the Exodus Wars range as well then I think you're almost be a one-stop-shop for Epic.

The refund was sent 2 days ago Blip. Can't you accept it or something? It shows as unclaimed.

Your friend has a paypal appeal in so his refund should be automatic.

I am not wanting to wade out unto the middle of any of this but just felt I should note that when a refund is issued via PayPal the actual refund can take up to 10 business days to actually show up in the buyer's ledger. I'm not saying anything has or has not happened here. Just pointing this out as I'm actually in the middle of a very large refund situation via PayPal with Wayland games as we speak so the information might to pertinent to share. Obviously this is only the case on an actual refund and not simply a new transaction to the originator.

Here's to a hopefully quick and satisfactory resolution for everyone.

KiC/JZ - Thanks for the input guys.

E&C - I have passed on the contents of your PM to M and asked him to check with PayPal. Haven't spoken to F since yesterday, but obviously he has contacted PayPal direct now for a formal refund. Again I will ask him to check progress.

Our apologies - Transfer was sent to M on Sunday eve. We were not aware it would be sent to email address rather than direct to the PayPal account with the same name without any notification on said PayPal account page. It has now been claimed. Sorry, this was us not understanding the PayPal system. Thanks for settling this.

Other refund being handled via PayPal disputes, which we understand may take a few days.

So another turn of events this week - Apparently one month after refunds were issued, both orders have turned up at one friend's ("F's") address this Wednesday.

Neither "M" or I have managed to get together for long enough to reorder from Vanguard, so as goodwill we are willing to send payment for the order via PayPal. Can you let us know which Paypal account would be prefered as we assume the Toublemaker one is no longer active ?

"F" has already gone to a completely different source for proxies so understandably isn't minded to pay for the ones recieved. He asks that if you want them sent back as requested in this thread then please let me know and I'll reduce my Paypal transfer to cover the postage.

On the positive side, we are all impressed by the quality of the latest wave of models. Very smooth and crisp. :)

A whole bunch of missing orders are suddenly arriving. You're not the only ones.

You should have the money now for part of order one which was for me, and I've passed on details to M.

That's encouraging, granted I live in the U.S. so it may take a little bit longer. Maybe you need a new local postal office E&C. :P

And just think...privatization was supposed to usher in an age of higher efficiency. ;D
