Has anyone ever did proper measurements for the following in TRUESCALE EPIC: ? :-\ :sos :sos
1) Leviathan
2) Capital Imperialis
3) Ordinatus Majoris of the Adeptus Mechanicus

I'd like ALL vehicles to be tru scale, to the scale of the infantry, at least. Still bothered by a rhino supposedly hold 10 space marines....yeah, that horse is being beat again.

I don't know what the conversions are.

But, I'm going to use Dystopian wars Prussian empire Seydlitz mobile air field chassis for my Iron warrior leviathans and colossi. When I get them done I'll post. Can't do them till spring because of priming issues.

They are the size of a computer mouse but taller and bulkier.

I'll try to get pictures up.

TMG Dictum Mobile Command center and DW Seydlitz airfield.

Dictum is the size of a traditional leviathan, maybe a bit bigger.

I saw a True Scale I-Titan on an Epic Space Marine facebook page. The 6mm SMs were standing along the parapits, etc. ... it was Big ! :o

Hi! I tried to make some numbers...lets see if this have some sense

- Warhound: 25 m "real" --> 14x a human --> Aprox 8.5 cm Epic
- Reaver: 40 m "real" --> 23x a human --> Aprox 13.5 cm Epic
- Warlord: 60 m "real" --> 35x a human --> Aprox 20 cm Epic
- Imperator: 150 m "real" --> 88x a human --> Aporx 50 cm Epic

I have used the "real" dimensions from http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Titan, and I assumed a regular human to be 1.70 m and the Epic scale about 1/300

The heights in meters of the mars pattern titans are well known for Warhound (14) and Reaver (22.3). That's going to roughly put a hypothetical Warlord around 33meters.

GW artwork has been terribly sh!ty inconsistent over the years and the BL writers simply farty smelly stinky when it comes to continuity. The FW heights are at least consistent with the relative proportions with the heights mentioned in AT which is where titans were invented. The problem with leveraging fan made proportional diagram is simply that they are even more variable from the actual official sources (that link above to 40k wikia is a great example and this in particular used frequently to debate sizes despite having no basis in official fluff).

This may or not fit with your particular preference of what constitutes a god -machine nor your personal head-cannon. If you want to model a Warhound being 8cm high in your army then so be it. Do what works for you and be happy :)
