Nah, I threw out my resin and silicon. But I am still creating, albeit in greatly reduced visibility. For example, the Necron sentries I designed for Epicomp.

Yeah, actually, they already dropped me a line a couple of days ago, so we're starting a dialogue! Now if only Picoarmor would get the 3mm sci-fi stuff I sent them molded and cast... *sigh* I need to quit my day job. Can someone get me a grant? I wouldn't need much -- one or two million would do it. I'd even accept it in Pounds Sterling -- how's that for being open-minded??

What's wrong with shapewayes?

It can get expensive quite quickly, and the printing quality still has a lot to be desired from. I think they're decent for test prints and such, but if you want something better, you need to consider looking elsewhere, meaning you also have to pay more. I guess doing a single print and then trying to cast it might be a better solution if you want to take it to the next level.

I have to say I loved the look of the Necron stuff saw the price on them and no offense just left the site in disgust. I've seen alot of Stuff on Shapeways I'd like to get but the prices grossly over inflated I think its largely the 3d printing thats doing it but they make buying GW products look cheap lol.
