You want more plastic's already?

Well i'm looking at putting them in store but i'm not sure on what price yet, also unsure if they should be sold individually or as sets of so many, say 3 to 6 frames a set with or without bases.

What would you guys like to see for these?

Maybe sell them as individual sprues at a premium price, and as a bundle of 5 or 10 where you're effectively getting a small discount on that individual price. Means people can get a bunch of cheap sprues to get started, but still tailor the number exactly by paying a bit more per sprue. Seems to be the way other companies run it and I've never objected to this approach as a customer. I'd keep bases optional.

Sorry, I just saw this thread.

My plastics arrived about two weeks ago.......and they are glorious!

Thank you, Moredakka, for seeing this through, and thank you very much to TroubleMaker for making it possible. I am so sorry to read the backstory of the demise of TMG. It speaks well of E&C's character to push himself so hard to finish a promise. Cold comfort, but I agree with an earlier poster that most of us would have been willing to let the plastics go to help him and keep TMG around.

Stilll, his honesty is what it is, and your dedication the job you took up is what it is, and I admire you both.

Now I need to look into asking the kiddies for one of those Not Leviathans for Father's Day.......

I've not started on mine yet.

I'd like to see them still sold as a 'box set' so to speak, with bases included BUUUUUUT I can see why its not worth you doing that- someone that only wants one or two sprues isn't going to want to buy a box of them, and not everyone will want the bases/pay the additional cost for bases. From a selfish point of view having the bases included would mean I'd buy more- I'd rather buy a box of minis that come with bases, then pay for the bases separately, when I only needed the bases. More for your money kind of thing. (I use a fair few of the bases- but for other things)

But personally I don't think that having bases with plastics is going to increase your sales so much that it makes it worth putting bases with it. I've said it before- but I'd rather you charge for bases, make a little extra profit and still be here in years too come.

I was always of the mind that bases should come with figs- years of buying other miniatures supplying bases made me think like that- but almost all 6mm (and 10mm) don't supply bases and no one seems to mind.

Sell it all separate, stay in business.

Oh, I would like to see an option to buy the AA guns separate, but again, if I have to buy it with the plastics so be it. I can always make use of them- more dead humans for the base god! ;)

not fussed on bases. I tend to base each army on a different type of base to allow for quick visual sorting. If I'm ordering through the website I'd add bases to my order if needed.

I think I received 9 sprues in the first package. 5,6,9,10 or 12 all seem useful numbers, especially noting there's only one of each type of vehicle per sprue. Given how neatly the sprues stack, it might be a case of seeing what number fits 'standard' package boxes to optimize shipping.

Ok people thanks for the feedback i'll try to sort something out.

At the moment i'm thinking about having these options available.

Single frames, basically a sample option really.
Box set of say 3 to 6 frames dependant on what fits best into my box sizes.
Metal upgrades will be available separately.
Bases wil be separate as most customers have their own favourite baseing preferences.
Could have bases included at additional cost.

Thoughts?

Would ditch the single sprue option, that way you avoid smallish orders of a single sprue

Your proposals sound good to me Moredakka, in particular the selling of the metal upgrades separately. As I've got 288 humans and 288 aliens to paint up, which should be more than enough infantry for my purposes, it'd be great to add Anti aircraft options without needing to get extra bodies. :) Glad to see the range is alive and in good hands. I didn't feel I could contribute to the 2nd-4th campaigns until after I'd gotten my initial plastics from campaign 1 built and painted, and it means people like myself won't miss out in the long run.
