In Sweden people insist om using a locally known brand of boxes of matches to indicate size in photos. Also not as efficient as a ruler. Good matches though :) I wonder what is assumed well known scale indicators in other countries?

I don't think I've shown off clear shots of these:

Neat.
With these your battlefield would look very much like the PC game...any thoughts on doing other races (or has this been brought up yet and I just missed the discussion?)

Thanks for that pic L4, it gives me the opportunity to show how the tower designs evolved over time:

I changed the tall tower from having a cruciform cross-section to having a three-lobed cross-section to match the other tower tops. I also added a big crystal at mid-height to relate it to the small towers and break up the plain lines, and I added some flared nubs at the top and base to give it more character. You can also see in the pic I posted a few days ago that I added some details to the sensor domes that can attach at the top of the tower.

I felt like the original sensor array was too stubby so I stretched it vertically. I also added framework details around the sensor crystals/windows, and added a crest to the back to give the model something visually interesting. The platform is also different - it changed from an all-round circular platform, to a off-center arc around approx. one third of the tower.

Like with the sensor array, I felt that the original silos were too stubby and round, so I slimmed down the silo to make it look taller. I also reduced the overhang at the top of the main spine and added a vent cap at the top to suggest storage of something that needs venting (like fuel or silage or cryo-liquids).

Nice work!

Do you have any photos next to Eldar infantry? I really like the designs but would be unlikely to ever buy them if they're too undersized for the infantry to fit through the doors.

The bunkers are made to be in scale with the objectives that GW sells, so the doors are undersized. It's made worse by the oversizing of most infantry models.

However, since one could imagine the domes being the entrances of underground complexes, you can easily imagine that the bottom part of the door is below ground level, and is simply 'lost in the shadows'.

But do not fret, the bunkers look better when compared to vehicles. Here's a shot of the bronze master of the plain bunker next to some GW models.

Note that this photo does not imply that my model is an official GW model. Rather, the GW models are presented for scale purposes only. Also, don't be surprised if this pic vanishes later.

You can see that my door is slightly larger than the one on the official model, but it is still too small for an infantry model - but then, so are all the hatches on any given vehicle.

Yes, the doors and such are in scale with 6mm Infantry ...

Don't worry about Nottingham Legal Power Rangers. Simply noting compatible with XYZ, ABC, and JKY game systems is quite legal considering the CHS verdict. :)

awesome designs btw. I think I am going to get some to go with my planned Stygian Raiders army from OSM :)

Okay fellas, I just sent off a mass email with the catalog info. If you didn't get one then either A) I don't have your [correct] email address, or B) your spam folder ate it because it was a mass email that looks a lot like spam.

Either way, if you didn't get the info and you still want said info, I suppose you might want to let me know.

Early stages of looking these ( only manage to download the catalogue not the price lists so far) but i was wondering if there is some merit in group ordering in the UK to save on p&p? Anyone interested?

Then again, with the postage rates in the UK this might end up pricer ?! ;D

I believe group orders will always be more cost effective for shipping rates than everyone buying separately.

International shipping from the US is crazy expensive at the moment, but luckily 6mm-scale models are small and relatively light, so shipping cost tends to fall in the same range regardless of how many small models you have shipped.

One other note about international shipping - I recently discovered that if I fill out the customs forms online before going to the post office then the postal worker at the counter doesn't have to type it in themselves. If you just fill out the forms by hand, they have to take a few minutes an enter it into their system and it is a hassle.

Also shaves about 75cents off the order (probably due to aforementioned time /hassle savings). While not huge every bit helps.
