One at a time I'm afraid. It's a dumb system. We may move to Kickstarter in future if I can work out how to use it.

Will there also be rules and background for all this stuff? If there's a game, will it include elements from Timeline 300? This little quite got me very interested:
Quote:
Unlike many wargames, Timeline 300 is not played by buying two equally pointed armies, lining them up and fighting. Instead, the game is more about the capture of resources which allow the purchase of new forces during the game. Battles can start small and develop into vast conflicts, as the fight for control of the flow of coal intensifies.

Yes, though we're still not sure about whether or not to pull through the resource management aspect of T300.

Knocking on the door of £4,400 already.

Tried out the rules download circa wave one with one of my regular opponents, We really enjoyed the resource management aspects that I presume are part of T300 (there is a typo referent to British Line Infantry which is a bit of a clue). Very much in the flavour of the classic Dune and C&C style computer games or so we thought.

The problem we encountered was that certain weaponry was too effective, long range artillery for example easily destroyed MCVs and Mining Machines.

So while the resource management is fun with relatively short range land base forces and plenty of LOS blocking terrain. Throw in flyers and artillery and it all quickly gets a broken.

At least that's my thoughts on the matter.

You could perhaps try something along the lines of a 'campaign map', sort of like Planetary Empires in 40k. So that if you control certain areas of the map, you'd be able to field additional units. You could even include battles to control the space lanes, which influence the supply lines, meaning you could introduce your ships. But this is perhaps a bit overkill since it would mean a totally different miniatures line...
