Still having difficulties, I'm looking at possibly trying to get a refund and honour the pledges in metal if there's no progress at the next status update from the consultants (Tuesday). One way (plastic) or another (metal) we'll honour the pledges, that's cast iron.

Hi!

I'm thinking that is what you should do. You've put out great stuff in metal that is more worthy than the plastics, at least IMO. :)

Yes, that sounds like a great idea! Your metal skinnerz are great!

Actually getting a refund may prove interesting however. Demanding one may just spur the finishing of the plastics (which is also acceptable).

Hi!

Given how many excuses they've given you, I'd say some demanding is in order. ;)

How did that status update go? Is it looking like metal or plastic at this point?

Swinging back to plastic at this time, due to some funny contract stuff it looks to be plastic or nothing at this late stage. I'm getting another status update Monday.

What happens in the case of "nothing"?

Should the very worst happen, I'll spend several thousand out of pocket to fulfill all pledges in metal. I believe we can still recover things however.

Hi!

Wow, E&C, that sucks!

Why should you get burned due to their incompetence?

I'm glad the other kickstarters have gone so well, but they really hosed you on this first one.

Shame on them.

Damn, I'm sorry E&C, for the work you've put into all of these, it would be awful for you to be out of pocket. v.v

Contributors to crowdfunding campaigns always know that there's a chance of failure. You have no obligation to do that.

No obligation legally. Bit of a business quandry if I want TMG to remain a trusted name though.

For information, the latest delay was caused by an insolvency in the consultants between TMG and the tool room.
