Unbelievable those guys need a bit of a k**king. How much longer are they going to take to get this right. Some sort of compensation for taking so long is in order i would think. Oh well after christmas for these i suppose. :(

Would you consider another plastics project with this firm i wonder?

Still i suppose it will be all worth it in the end.

Any news ? You should really answer them now if you haven't already; have you received the revised schedule you hinted about ? I think everyone who participated in funding your first campaign is hungry for information about the project...

I'll phone them again today, to find out. Had sent an email and was told the problem was a cavity failure during the testing processes.
I've also requested a price reduction for all the delays, which I'd hope.to pass on.

Some horribly blurry pics from the factory of the tool - they say they'll have the damage (whatever it was, maybe those small dents on the shot that doesn't yet have the sprue runners cut? - I'm not certain as this is literal "Chinese whispers" we're playing here through intermediaries!) repaired soon and expect to have sample production shots for us by the end of the week.

So the new schedule would imply that if we can sign off on the production samples within a week or two, we're on course for deliveries to commence in January.
