Thankyou so much everyone for carrying us to 66% funding today.

How about a piece of news to celebrate?

We reckon it'll be possible to have one half of the sprue cast in one colour, and the other half in a different colour!

We think Green & Grey would look great, but what do you guys think?

I honestly think the sprue cast color is unimportant as most will prime them anyway. But overall I am very pleased with the direction of the project.

Well done, I'm in for 80quids worth. Can't help feeling it's a bit of a missed opportunity not putting it on kickstarter I think the Americans would prefer this.

Maybe if this goes well (I'm sure it will), you could do a kickstarter? Maybe with Star Marines? Defeat in detail: Brother vs Brother. ;)

I think the two coloured sprue should be nice for starter armies and people that are entering the hobby to quickly assemble and field the armies unpainted, but am not sure people will begin wargaming via 6mm scale so maybe it won't be all that relevant (I did, and at age 10, but that was almost 30 years ago...)

I did as well, ghq tanks. No such thing as 28mm in my day in canberra only the rich and famous had armies like that. Only 28mm i every saw was a 28mm byzantine army. Space marines ?!?!!.

The great appeal of the 6mm as a kid was if you painted them green (e&c has this covered) you could start playing. When i discovered space marine 30 years late i thought "what a cool idea to matched armies in 6mm". Well e&c must be cool....Then to think next a game of space knights fighting brother against brother. Maybe blue and red next time. Then you have a red blue green grey mash up.

We're up to £1700***, just £500 to go until the first new 6mm scifi sprue since the mid 90's(?) will be funded for release!

After looking at the "naming rights" Perks I've decided to add a bit more value to them - the "name the army/race" perks have gotten themselves a unique Leader sculpt thrown in, while the "name the vehicle" perks have simply nudged down in price.

I've also added a new Six Boxed Sets option, since the Four Boxed Sets option has been surprisingly popular thus far.

I can only reiterate that we are honoured and humbled by the support we've received so far in this venture, both publically and privately.

For those who are interested but can't contribute directly, perhaps you could help by adding a link to the campaign into your .sig on any gamer forums you participate in?

***Which means we've hit 75% of our initial funding target!

save the update for tuesday morning (or late monday evening).

no-one reads this sort of thing on Mondays, too busy trying to pretend to work. By tuesday boredom has reasserted itself. People read on the way to work.

This?

That'd be the news item I emailed 'em. :-)

Just a touch over £400 to go before the initial sprue is locked in, then we stretch to get the double capacity sprue!

Coming from you, I'll take that as a big thumbs up. Thanks for your repeated proddings to make me do better! ;-p

If we're all happy with the design of the Alien Vehicle now I can send the Aliens off to the factory for flow testing.
