Hee! That new head's quite cute, but I think perhaps you're right.

+++
The rotary cannon looks good – though the holes in the muzzle piece could do with being smaller and more numerous (like the shoulder flamethrower in the same picture) to give a sense of larger scale.

+++
The past couple of pages gave me an idea that might be relevant: as a midpoint between a completely set layout and a completely flexible layout, could you make a core body, and then separate upgrade sprues that contained a set weapon layout (two arms, two shoulder guns) plus an alternative head and carapace piece?

It'd reduce the amount of sorting you'd have to do (since it'd be 'core body plus X'), and might suggest themes. e.g.

Support sprue with long-range gun arms, rocket shoulders, a head with scopes/sensors, and a carapace plate with a viewing platform.

Assault sprue with short-range/combat arms, machine gun shoulders, a brutal-looking head, and a heavier carapace plate.

The carapace piece is actually rather large, I'd prefer to stick to one carapace until we've got some stretch goals rolling.

Question, will all the leg and arm joints be ball and socket to enable a bit of flexibility with pose?

The hip and ankle joints are ball-and-socket joints, the knee joint is a rotational joint.

You should be able to get more variety of leg poses out of it than you can out of a human leg (bend the knee backwards if you like!).

The arm joints are ball-socket at the shoulder, and flat rotational joints at the gun end.

The shoulder joints are flat rotational joints which can camber up and down at the gun end.

Shoulder weapons will fit on the arm socket, if you want them to.

Ingress hatch.

There are several more internal hatches on the internal details, leading to the cockpit.

Interesting, what's the thinking behind this one then.

Yes thanks that will do nicely.

Like the new gun vents idea too.

All sounds good to me, thanks for the breakdown.

Out of curiosity will there be accompanying medium and small designs to compliment the LS at a later date?
