Hey, sad to hear of bad news - was wondering why no news - bad factory ! >:(

Being on the bad end of some serious building funk ups lately i feel you pain when bad advice screws you over. But hey, I'd say go basic, and if anyone complains give them a discount further down the line on metal variants or some such deal. At the end of the day, everyone funding on a crowd funder should know there's some risk.

But don't get down - the concept was massively popular, it should point to a good future for Trouble Maker and for the factory.

Good news on the house too. Enjoy.

At this point in time, I'm not sure wether you should announce it to all backers to start walking back expectations, or wait until you know what you are going get?

Surely if they made a mistake with the quote (and not a minor one at that) then it's tough on them and they should take the lose.

I agree with maddOctOr on holding of on a general announcement until some decisions have been made.

What an annoyance.

To be honest, you should loose the gobblers from the plastic straight away, as they are available in metal. It would be a shame to loose the heavy weapon orc, as otherwise we end up with many many mono pose stands. Loosing the leader would be a real shame, but personally I would be happy to buy a later release of leaders, which I guess would allow you to design them with more detail (and hopefully include heavy heavy heavy metal armored mega leaders!)

It would be a shame to end up with just the one pose orc on the sprue, for me simply because I have quite enough GW epic orks to complete all three armies I'm constructing (Bad moons, feral list, and freebooters for the misses) and was looking forward to mixing them up with the older ones with your heavy weapon sculpt!

Good luck with the house move. Your feel poor for a while after, but buying your first house is a fantastic adventure!

Hi!

I second this request. I'd rather have the heavy weapons than the gobbos. I too have enough mono-posed infantry, so I would rather sacrifice anything else but the multi-pose infantry.

Primarch

I third this request.

It really does suck having to dig up that extra cash to make this a reality, but look at the bright side, you are close to having a product that can start generating revenue for you. Best of luck with this Ben, it sucks this happened perhaps find a different company to work with?

Yep. Gobbos away +1. Still. I suppose we dont really know what this is about until we get the numbers. How many inf sculpts can we get for what we have now?

Oh, and good luck with the house! Very much more important than this.

Oh, and +1 find another company.

+1

I'd certainly be telling them you are looking to find a different fabricator if they don't make some deal following a screw up like that ! You've got a product that has already sold 4x your initial estimate when you asked for the quote (based on £2.5k funding target.) Not sure how competitive the market is and what your leverage is though... Good luck !

I wasn't a huge donor, but feel free to cancel my orders, scratch my bonus sprues, and keep my money. We'll call my donations "investments" instead of "purchases".

Truth be told I've plenty still from my GW panic-buy to keep me busy for a while, and if you're able to turn out a great sprue I'll have some more hobby budget saved to buy more by the time you start casting. A good sprue is what the game needs most right now.

I pledged for 2 basic sets and 160 gobblers. I'm happy just getting 80 gobblers and 1 basic set if that would help you out some?
