Very nice, including the unit details. Striking and effective colour scheme.

The base labels failed to hold up under extended use, and ended up being very hard to read under game conditions. So I decided to replace them. Also, I've begun laminating them with heavy transparent packing tape before cutting them out, to stabilize the toner from my laser printer. This has been a success so far, and has actually added some extra depth to the labels to make them seem really clean and vibrant. I'm happy with the outcome so far!

Those look amazing. What size bases are you using?

They're 5/8" x 1" x 1/8" lasercut plywood.

As part of my attempt to recover from a year of stress-related illness and general disaffection, I’m attempting to make more time for family and leisure, including my hobbies. So more progress on these two long overdue armies! Artillery support is on the way here: proxy Whirlwinds for the Sons of Horus, and proxy Legion Basilisks for the Imperial Fists! The Basilisks are actually variant Archer SPGs from the Vanguard line, prototypes that John at Vanguard was nice enough to toss into one of my orders to get my opinion on them - I don’t know if he’s planning to go forward with them but they’re great little pieces to have.

The way I base my 3mm scale infantry, finishing is the most laborious part. But nevertheless, I have two full Tactical detachments done, with tanks and fire support. I’m closing in on my 4000 point goal.
