Ok, I'm starting on scratchbuilding an IN/SoB fleet, and I wanna have lots of Dauntless cruisers (I hate building torpedoes, and masses of ?nova cannons ain't very nice either).

So I've just started on the first of five Dauntless cruisers, and was wondering: how do these things really look?

I have seen them in RL, but not enough.

So here's the question:

- Can you guys give me some pics that clearly shows how a Dauntless is built up, and the size compared to standard cruisers?

BTW, the size in CM of standard cruisers and Dauntless would be nice too...

BTW, can you guys give me the length in cm of the cruisers and escorts too?

I wanted to start on my black ship & Firestorms, but I just realised, I barely know how big (or small) they actually are. Also the Dauntless hulls I started on, I'm not sure if they're too big/small...

I've snapped the pics. They're not great as the model has only been undercoated black so it might be difficult to make out the detail.

Thanks! I already spotted something I'd have done very wrong without these.

Soon, I will have my first pair of Dauntless finished. And with some luck, they will look as good or even better than the cruiser.

Oh by the Throne... I hate Imperial prows!

I hated them when I built the dictator, and I hate them now I build these dauntless cruisers... I've finally come to the conclusion that the only solution was lots of greenstuff and some big weights to hold down the plastic, and now just hope it is enough.

Oh, the horrors of the escorts... *staggers backwards and falls over*

Btw, this was just a rant on prows, OT, and possibly spam. Just had to get this out.

Hey, does anyone have pics of dauntlesses with lances? I did the side-lances, but I haven't found good pics with the front lance...
