The Art of Command Project Distant Darkness supplement What is the Art of Command? In essence the pdf is a scenario supplement to the Project Distant Darkness -Revival- ruleset available at: http://www.epic40k.co.uk/rules/gothic/ddarkness.html But instead of throwing together some scenarios to use the Distant Darkness fleet in we have embedded the scenarios in a storyline. The Story Throughout PDD-Revival we already created a setting which was heavily influenced by a story line in our mind. In the Art of Command the story picks up shortly after the last scenarios in PDD-Revival-. But instead of an historical overview of what happens we decided to write actual connected stories. The process of writing and expanding has been a tedious, detailed and well-crafted excersize. It took us nearly a year to finish it completely. The story will close some story ends to the Project Distant Darkness setting and at the same times creates or keeps the more focal points. The story will come to an end in the second supplement called: Distant Sun. The PDF A short overview on what the pdf will contain: * Updated rules for the five main characters. This to reflect their growth and use in scenarios. * An overview of the main combat vessels. * Ten connecting chapters with story aligned scenarios * Two extra bonus scenarios embedded in the story * All special created art. So nothing rehashed. For now it seems that the pdf will be between 48-54 pages long. Horizon Zhai Morenn |
