This is a great list! :)

It is original enough that it doesn't seem too bland, and has a unique spin that makes it very interesting to play.

As for the ships themselves, A suggestion regarding module arrangment; rather than have the biggest ship (the Swarmhood?) have all its modules mounted laterally, I would suggest the 5th and 6th ones are mounted dorsally and ventrally.

at the moment it looks like this: (m = module: < = front of ship)

I would put the two "front" modules on the top and bottom:
  mm==
<=m===
  mm==

The illustrations certainly give the ships a sympathetic shape for this configuration, and it means you can mount 3 lance modules without getting an uneven broadside (as you can put one on top of the ship so it has the same fire arcs as the ones mounted on the sides).

Also, an idea regarding space stations; you could join two or more 'light cruiser' swarmships together and form a stationary platform, or even stack the basic MODULES in a honeycome pattern so they form a wall, or a hexagon shaped disc.

I think it would be cool to have ships made up completely of the escort modules- basically a big jigsaw puzzle of ships that can split up and merge in different combos.

Other than that, I think it is the most original fleet list I have seen for BFG.

Hi!

Hadn't thought too much abotu the stations - although the cell-station idea does seem a bit Suliban-esque (I'd still wnat a station to have a more substantial core module, with optional Segments, kinda like a Tau Orbital in that regard)

I don't want to go the route of Segnent modules only when putting a ship together, the Core+Segment dynamic is an important one for how I want the list to pan out.

Design wise, I should be getting some images from Chris for theo other Core modules, I'll have a better idea of how it will be when that shows up.


Thanks for the thumbs up for the list! I hope Andy Hall likes it too.

Those ships look very sezzy. If only they were availible for purchase. :down:

They do look surprisingly 'humanish' though...

The fleet, as far as I can tell (Not a BFG expert) is good too.

Sounds good. That's exactly the type of thing I feel FW should do (or heck, even Specialist Games) adding new ships (like the Demiurg vessels) to the game.
