:D
Question: Can the same ship appear in more than one category? Can my Retribution class be submitted for the single ship contest, and also appear in my fleet entry?

Different photos of course.

Hello,

again a little reminder for GothiComp 2009. Unfortunatelly still no offer or news on possible
prizes.

So I decided to throw in the following as a prize:
Adeptus Mechanicus icons (from the AM vessels)
two metal chaos battleship bridges
the metal lances from a Desolator battleship
Some Imperial Navy sprue stuff

nothing much but at least something.

So far we have 4 entries for single vessel competition and 5 entries for the fleet category,

keep on painting,
Horizon

Are there any rules about how the pictures have to be made? Only a single Picture oder several perspectives added together? Size? Backround? And so on...

Hi,

from the rules:

The Pictures
You should submit a single picture per entry, no more. Each photograph should be no more than 3 megabytes large. They may be of any pixel size as long as the file size is not exceeded.

so if that's 1000x500 or 8000x4000. Doesn't matter. As long as it is 3mb or less in filesize.

You may make a collage of different perspectives. You may place your ship with photoshop (or similar) in a space background but it is not necessary to do so.

A lot less then last year,

10 ships
10 fleets

I dunno why.... last year did see more multiple entries by people. If those people did the same this year you could add +5 or so.
I do know some people are still about to enter.
Most oddest are some replies when I asked if people liked to enter is that they had no interest at all. I mean...why? The ships were quality painted.

So its possible to take part with several Ships? I plan to take part with a modified venerable Battle Barge and a Tau fleet. I only have to get good pictures but my camara doesnt want to make them... ;-)

So at least two more entries.

Strange that they dont want at all, maybe BFG simply isnt important for them anymore? I think its not even about the prizes but to show the community your work. But maybe some others think its not worth it because they dont think they can get first... speculations...

Yep, more entries per contender allowed.

I think bfg is still important. But I agree that not having a chance may be
an issue. Though it is taking part that counts!

Plus Gothicomp 2005-2008 are great galleries. Only for that people should submit.
