Hello? Anybody? Does anyone still visit this section anymore? |

I am afraid that this section has become very dormant as the main focus has shifted towards Epic:A, but like with many games, people will still continue to play it somewhere in the universe. ![]() Cheers Chris |

We play all versions of Epic on this site, so many times our comments are general in nature. Unless otherwise specified, like we use SM1 Templates to organize our armies and play a "hybrid" version of rules. So everyone's comments are welcomed ... ![]() |

Hi! The buzz now is Epic A, so this section sees the least action. It will balance out after the new game is release and people decide which system they like better. I think epic 40k players will need to "adjust" to having their version being "unsupported" like SM second edition and AT before that. The interesting thing is epic 40k has more in common now with the older versions, since like them, support will have to be fan based. In the end play what YOU like, your the only one the game needs to please.... ![]() Primarch |

Well, as I now have two regular opponents, and both are building their own gaming rooms too. I should be able to start teaching them epic. And the version I will start with will be epic 40K, since the rules for them are already standardised. I was going to teach them EpicA, but with it changing often, I knew they wouldn't keep up (and maybe even accuse me of cheating! ![]() ![]() So, once they've settled in, and we have a few practise games under our belts. I'll try and give some news/feedback. Dont hold your breath yet though. One guy is still to move into his house fully, and the other is still converting his loft to the gaming room. And they dont get to mine that often as neither drive. |

My group currently plays Epic 40k. We have between us all the armies, and usually play 3 on 3 with about 5k points on a side. We cant go much higher than that because of time constraints and table size (4x8) do not allow. We are probably going to playtest Epic A sometime in the future, and possibly switch, if all are in agreement. Our last game was 5k of Tyranids vs 3700 pts of Orcs, using fortifications as listed in Firepower 4. The 'Nids were soundly defeated, didnt even come close to winning. The fortifications are very powerful, and next time we use them we will have to balance the points better. my 2cents. iblisdrax |

If you play regular, I'd love to hear more about your games. Epic40K is the version I started with, so its the one that I know the best. And, as such, I have none of the problems the vets have with it. As I'm yet to get oppoents into it, I'm eager to hear other peoples thoughts, views, reports etc. |

We alternate between Epic 40k and Necromunda, and play about once a month. Our next game we hope to get in will be in late October or early November, and will be Epic 40k, so I'll report back then. iblisdrax |
