hi all, Does anyone have any spare fate cards? or links to them online, I believe that there were different ones for different races, and other ones too, like the imperial tarot? Id love to get hold of them, and any other info on this game. Currently all ive got is the original 3 books... Steve |

Here's what I have in digital form: 1. A PDF of the White Dwarf pages with the Emperor's Tarot cards. In fact I have the articles from WD#208-213. 2. A PDF index all of the Articles in the Firepower & Epic Magazines. 3. A Word document called "Rule Amendments and Errata for Epic 40 000 V:1.0 May 2001" which has the amendments from Firepower 1, but I've got no idea if there were more changes made. The index will likely tell you this. I know there were lots of FAQs subsequently. 4. The magazines contained lots of articles with special lists and rules for certain armies (like space marine chapters), variant units, and updated rules for armies like the orks. The ork changes and vehicle variant rules I happen to have as PDFs but all the others I only have in hard copy. |

Thanks Kyrt, Toco has already sent me a load of stuff, I am going to re-write the rulebook, in a similar fashion to the netepic project. I have done about half of the book already, and once thats done I will then be going over it and amending the text where necessary to include all the errata and updates etc. I will no doubt require some help, so I will be starting a new thread at some point, where we can put our collective knowledge to some use and get the book as accurate as possible. Of course it will be in no way official, and for personal use only.... Its something I have wanted to do since I picked up the rules last year, as I cant be arsed with lots of printouts etc.. Anyway, updates soon. Steve |

I am going to re-write the rulebook, in a similar fashion to the netepic project. I have done about half of the book already, and once thats done I will then be going over it and amending the text where necessary to include all the errata and updates etc. Sounds good i'd like a fully amended epic40K rule set. it is still my favourite version of epic. |

@yorkie: I will gladly help you in testing and correcting. Maybe it would also be cool to have some alternative/house rules inside. I have made good experiences with alternating the movements and the shooting of detachments. Good luck with the project! |

Yeah, that would be interesting. I will start a new thread, and we can go through each phase in detail and figure out what all the amendments were, and what other stuff we could include. What I do want though, is to maintain the simplicity of the game, and not add anything that is going to bog it down in lots of detail. I really do like the game and dont want to over tinker with it. Steve Indeed. Don't make it more detailed. That's 2nd edition and Armageddon. 3rd Should stay simplified and quick. |
