Hi!

:D Thats a good strategy! When my wife complains on my epic spending, I'l blame it on GW offering odd epic models I dont have brilliant! :p

Seriously though, its easy to get sucked in and buy, buy, buy. I wouldn't buy any of them unless I intended to make rules for them. Actually I kinda like when these odd epic things spring up since it gives me an excuse to "whip up" some rules for it. In days when games are few and far between creating rules are all the fun I get.

So, what do you think about the Exodite rules I sent you? Any playtesting data...? :;):

Hi!

"mojarn", Jyrki, is that you?!

User names make it so confusing at times.

Hi!

You've been a bad Mojarn, Mojarn. :D

I'm still collecting the necessary minis, so I haven't playtested it yet. After several reads I think the army list is solid and I have not seen any obvious flaws of unbalanced units.

Ok! Now I know who you are - I was also confused.

It is a cracking list there matey, worthy of B-Rep once I get the Genestealer cult game and test game of Dawn of Darkness out the way!

Epic 40,000 is most certainly not dead. I have been collecting all armies (except Tau) lately and am now in a conversion frenzy. I hope to start painting this summer. Progress can be followed in my blog.

I started with Epic 40,000 when it came out. I was always intrigued by the Epic scale, but the game was not for sale anymore and I only read about it in old White Dwarfs. So when Epic 40,000 came out I was hooked. Great simple rules, wonderful miniatures AND I had another player to play many games. And then it stopped. GW killed this beautiful game for wrong reasons. But I never stopped loving it, still collect and will play again many battles.

I've been "Epicing" since '90 with SM1 ... And with all the great new 6mm sci-fi companies out there (at least 4 or 5 of them are "Epic-philes") , that can be used with Epic, long will it live !!!
