					| Blah! All old style, the new titans look ugly to me, beetle backs are the way to go! Especially as they are stooped and angled to rip into the hordes of ickle creatures swarming around them... not in the modern GW pose of heroic battle droids designed more for duelling than real combat.

					| Amen, brother! I have 50 or so beetlebacks and one of the new types. I am only after two more so I can have a battle group. I was pretty flabberghasted when I first saw the new titan designs. I never understood why the weapons pointed up.   The old beetle's hunched over and looks menacing. As if looking for things to stomp under foot. _________________

					| I know, it was around that time that the GW modelling high point began to fade, I hated the new box land speeder which was released at the same time too. It looked awful.
Mind you things are picking up now, decent plastic kits, superb metal epic mini's and only the odd ugly miniature.

I love the new 40k Rhino, 100 times better than the original (looks more practical, and the paint schemes are better now too. Before they painted them as immaculate vehicles that had never seen an inch of mud in there lives, now they are worn and used but lovingly maintained... the way they should be.)

					| What Land Speeder do you mean? The dreadful 2nd ed 40k metal one by any chance (urgh) ?
I agree that the models are picking up- the only poor ones I can think of offhand are the BFG Vengeance and the awful new Captain Cortex SM special character model... The Emperors champion is fantastic tho!!

					| I don't mind the Vengance, but I don't have one to comment on!
But you have to remember that the Vengance was Fanatic not GW, and was sculpted by freelance sculpter, as are all Fanatic models.

 Cheers,
 Chris.

					| Hmmm yeah true...I have to say I like the idea behind the Vengeance- in between the chaos and imperial designs, but I jus think it could have been rather better executed.

					| How about a Chaos/Imperial Battleship then?
 Cheers,

					| Personally I would:
 1) Take a Retribution
 2) Add the Vengance top deck instead of the Retribution dorsal spine
 3) Add the Vengance prow
 4) Arm as required

This would probably be a Super battleship - but it would look cool!

 Cheers,
 Chris.

					| It would look pretty cool I agree, but I reckon you might have to bulk out the Retribution central spine in some way, as the Vengeance top deck is much wider. _________________

					| Maybe take two and file the opposite sides down so they fit together to make a wider spine for the Vengance spine and prow.
 Cheers,
 Chris.

					| Interesting idea.. It would take a while to file the spine sides down tho _________________

					| Do you have a Dremel, or something like it? It'll be pain doing it by hand. _________________

					| I do have a Dremel-looking thingy, but I don't know how to use it!
This is just an idea, I may do it someday, but I am currently upto my elbows in unassembled and unpainted models!

 Cheers,
 Chris.
