I have seen and even bid on (unsuccessfully) the original prototype warlord that has been painted in blue. I can't remember seeing the bare metal one pictured next to it.

Photos of the older original prototype were seen maybe a few years ago and there was a load of discussion here about it. It’s pretty clunky looking but I guess was just made as a prototype for testing the game and probably never meant to be seen by the public.

Thanks for the link. Interesting to see the 6 separate pieces needed to put it together.

Also the eagles on the sides on the carapace. These didn't make it on to the beetleback but in a retro nod are on the current Titanicus Warlords on the sides.
