Yes, it is that time again. With my Iron Warriors finally completed the desert wastes have brought forth another metal monstrosity! I believe I will be going with a purple scheme, with neon green LASERZ. Need some bright colors after the weathered look of my previous army. So I will most likely not be going rusty crons. Here's a shot without all the other troops put together. cheers

Must. Keep. Going. I'll prolly be trying to use a different technique to paint this army...stain or something...not sure...I usually pick some absurd technique, like painting on rust in cracks freehand (FML) and then doing that for MONTHS. I think these will be easier to paint visually...we'll see. Some test are in order. Any suggestions on painting really bright purple? Im thinking white undercoat. super bright purple base and then a darker wash of purple somehow. Followed with edge highlights. Add neon green lights to taste. Thoughts? |

Will be interesting to see how this develops. Crons are the next army I am planning after my Chaos. what units are the Lychguard shields meant to be? (I haven't had a good read of the necron list yet). |

Using the shields as Doomsday Arks...long cannon type projectile...seemed perfect |
