This is my first TOEG but am looking forward to it. Decided to dedicate my time to finishing my Death Guard force that has been sitting mostly un-assembled for months. Finally found the last couple models needed to finish my list. They should arrive shortly and I can get this in full swing with pics etc! |

Ok Almost everything arrived (Still waiting on some plague zombies from SCP that were delayed) and I got a healthy start over the weekend. Ended up deciding on bases that are 35mm x 15mm. Needed the extra space to mount the terminators also decided to mount them first then paint after as the troops were all 3 parts or more and exceptionally challenging to build. I figure the few imperfections will work for me as nurgle slime. Did some conversions on rhinos to make them more nurgley and in the process of making a Plague Reaper from a nice looking SH tank of unknown origin. Have three amazing lords, Epidemius, Typhus and nurgle sorcerer. Thinking of using the old metal 40k nurglings as my daemon troops (plaguebearers). Also have two standard plague towers, 4 standard contagion engines, 4 defilers that are going to be stripped and repainted from a decommissioned black legion list.

I like P3 Warjackbone, Army painter shade (strong tone) and menoth white highlight as a nice warm bone colour. D. |

Eggshell or ivory will work as the top highlight as well to keep the white not so white and stay warm |

Lovely figures i have a batch myself so i look forward to being inspired by this thread and to get my guys built. It is a bit of a pain glueing all those arms on. Who's bases have you used if i may ask? |
