Hi all!
I heard about this and I'm very excited. Just starting to paint my second epic army and I can use all the motivation I can get!
This will be an Imperial Guard , Steel Legion list. I spent long days trying to come up with a paint scheme and finally decided on a desert/badlands theme since that would stand apart from the rest of all my armies. And since I'm a Dune fan I've decided to pay tribute to the never seen Atreides secret army! Basically this just means I'll eventually work in some Atreides colors (green, black and red) into the general desert look (on the flags and officers ect). A friend is starting an ork army as. 'Da Barun' as a Harkonen counterpart and we have grand schemes to make a desert board and matching bases
and a mutual friend has already modeled an epic scale sandworm , complete with firemen rider, in a billowing dust storm that we will use as terrain I'll get a pic if that up when it's finished.Really looking forward to seeing everyone's armies!
