Hi, Hope no one minds me leaping in to ToEG at this late stage (?) Can tell me to clear off back to 6mm forum if you like ! :-) Been on a bit of a painting holiday for a few months as real life has been getting in the way. It's been the great turn out for ToEG this year that inspired me to get this little pointy eared lady alien out for a lick of paint (first 28mm fig for 17 years !) Attachment: Exarch.jpg [ 100.15 KiB \| Viewed 11987 times ] Well that lead to the Exarch above which went fairly well i think, so i dug out some of her little cousins to see how the scheme looked in 6mm. As you can see, gone for 4/3 figs to a base - hope no one's terribly offended ! I like painting 6mm infantry, but hundreds of them drives me a bit bonkers. The thought all the Eldar infantry was just too much to take - plus i'm a cheap skate ! To be honest i think it looks ok. It's more of a "fun to paint" army anyway and 5 to a 25mm base sometimes looks a little crowded. looks great, good start! As a recommendation though, it might be worth putting the flags at the back of the stand (like the farseer one) so it doesn't obscure any of the modesl - the poor DA exarch will never get to swing his sword with that flag flapping in his face

Looking good so far! I like the bases, and 3 is the minium number of infantry per stand so you're ok in that regard looking forward to seeing the Falcons.

Thanks guys. Realised in my haste last night i uploaded one of the pics twice and you didn't get to see the rest of Asurman's gang. Loved the icy look. Mine are turning out a little greener and darker but i'm happy with them. My boards are all desert, so icy wasn't really going to work for me ! :-) Did you finish the army ? (i may have missed it during my real-life episode.) Can you direct me to the thread ?

I remembered i am supposed to post an army list for the ToEG spot. Having played only a little EA and never with Eldar it's a bit of a stab in the dark at this stage but is basically most of what i own currently (though i just got a Phantom for a very reasonable amount a couple of days ago :-) This is what i'm aiming for in the first instance, but if anyone can offer any suggestions for something more competitive please let me know. Unfortunately a slight cockup by my craft worlds bone singer (Forj Vor'ld) has resulted in a distinct deficiency in Firestorms. Had time to prep all my bases but i'm planning to get my jet bikes ready this month and finish off the falcon units for next month. There's a sneak peek jet bike in the last image... Like those grave tanks really good detail work. Ah an Eldar stealth army in that last picture incredibly effective camo scheme, seriously though this army is coming along nicely keep up the good work.

So, just scraping me over the 1000 points with a few days to spare... Wind Riders. On the upside, i now have a few spare mkII Falcon hulls - anyone know where i could get a couple of extra falcon turrets ? Or even better how to convert them into Wave Serpents?
