I normally try and avoid WIP photo's but this was a really handy method for getting the legs evenly spaced:

you should try a black wash on your units, its as easy way to help blend it all together and add shadows and depth.

A lot of the detail isn't sharp enough to carry washes as effectivley as I'd like. I might just have to learn how to paint!

Not sure wether to call it done, or if she needs more 'pop'
possibly options are bright colour facepaint (ziggy stardust) on the face, do something brighter with the tentacles.

Yep, Tim Burton would have been proud of this. My first impression was one of the Toy Story movies (I or II), when they first encounter the creatures of the sadistic boy ... >:D

finished the tzeentech greater demon, and it turned out only slightly larger then the (oversized) lesser engines.

Here's a group shot with some infantry sprinkled through for scale...

I think the slaaneshi might get redesignated as a titan.

Infantry test.

Standard steel legion, painted to look like they're wearing martian robe in a chem desert.

EDIT: Painted is too strong a word.

Finished a much larger Tzeentech inspired engine. Nice and spindly though. One transformer was sacrificed to the dark gods.

To get his feet flat I cheated a little. Legs were glued on with clear epoxy glue - the rubbery stuff. Once that had set, I superglued the feet to a sheet of paper to get them all flat. The paper will in turn be glued to a base.

I've decied to base them all - it's just easier then having to glue snapped legs back on ALL THE TIME

Also 5 spawns. About another 25 to go. No idea what list I'll use them in, maybe a special scenario. I really need to get on with the infantry.
