I'm going to use this Evil Star Trek symbol for some of my E/W & DRM AFVs + some Merc Forces from Slammer lore I had made in 6mm ... ;D Image Image

It Maybe awhile ... but they are in the que for painting ... along with all my other 6mm G/W-F/W, E/W & DRM ... ;D That's one of the problems having so many 6mm Sci-fi Armies and terrain to paint !! ;D But I have tentively decided what AFVs get what decals ... ;D Here's some more ... Image Compagnie de Barthe is one of my favs ! ;D

Haha thats the best part seeing it in your head and how grand it will be. For me its still the horrible task of painting actual detail on something so small. Ive only been working on this army for two weeks. I cant imagine the sheer amount of lead you must have dedicated to 6mm.

All I do is 6mm Sci-fi now ... since about '90 and I like to put a lot of detail on them ... so yes ... it takes time ... And more cool stuff from E/W & DRM keeps coming out !! :o ::) Not to mention old Crow will start releasing 6mm Slammer AFVs within the next few mnoths ... So I'll have a TF of those to go with my GZG NAC that I'm using for Slammer Grunts ! ;D It never ends !!! ^-^

Here are a few more shot of the infantry i will be using. I used cut up gravel on the bases. The rules are for a space marine army. So i have tried to fill all the roles. This squad is a Devastator. And i have used the LLE and missile launcher legionnaires to fill the 4 heavy weapon slots.

Ok so now i have begun the actual painting of the troops, This is the first time that i have ever painted at this scale. Obviously very different from the 28mm im used to. I have to say i am enjoying it. Just wish i had more time.

So i have gone for a mix of desert yellow and scorched brown for the bases. Then higlighted with a mix of bubonic brown and desert yellow. The guns i will hi light with codex grey.

Now i just need to paint those little ying yangs on... :P

Excellent camo - maybe too good. Might get lost on the table chappy without some contrasting colours...

What do you think L4? Too much camo?
