And now we come to the titan killing element of the GDR!

Scouts!

I couldnt think of a better set of models for the part of scouts then the Guild Shadow knights. They have perfect camo cloaks. Giving them the look of a unit working in reconnaissance and stealth.

I've included the Shadow Barron (no girls) as squad leader. And gone for a mix of rifles and swords.

You get 4 Shadow Barons (crouching model), 8 Shadow Knights w/Twin Energy Blades and 8 Shadow Knights with Sniper Rifles (SMG sized).

And so we reach stage 2 of the construction of the GDR!

As with alot of you I have been waiting for a long time for my Valkyrie to be the centre piece of my army.
Untill I get it, my new task is to get the Predators ready. They are missing side sponson lascannons. I decided the best way to do this was also the simplest.

Using the Guild MK 2 LLE sponsons i glued them to the sides. Let me know what you guys think. I will post the final painted versions very soon.

Looks good - I would have clipped off the mounting peg through so the sponson is closer to the hull.

This, and possible flattened off the top and the bottom.

Looks good though :)

Ooooh - I like that idea, a bit of the old filing action could work wonders.

My thought exactly. I plan to replace my old Khorne Predators this way...and my adding the new Edenite tank turret as the main gun. The large flat panels on the MBT chassis just begs for some chaosy conversions!

Happy New Year!

Very sorry for the delay on this post. We have had a small problem with the Valkyries yet again. The mould is just not good enough. I was very much looking forward to having it as the centre piece for the GDR. But Tom and I are very much of the belief that if it isn't the best it can be we arent going to use it. This has made me very sad.

However there is a silver lining.

Taking an epic thunderhawk. I have over the last few days been converting up a proxy for the Valkyrie model. Which is ironic as the role is actually for a thunderhawk.

Here are some early shots. My idea is basing it on Nick Furys Shield Helli Carrier.

Still alot to do.

Let me know your thoughts and suggestions.

Just over a week to go...

Here are a few more. my idea was to move away from the thunderhawk look as much as possible.
