Finished some Emperor's Children stuff. Just standard single pose marines, but for the Emperor's Children I find the uniformity appropriate. (As you can see I am a single Chaos Space Marine short - Eaten by the Carpet Monster I suppose. If anyone have a spare they'd be willing to part with I'd be ex...

I'll be the first to admit that the basing is somewhat lazy. I think I should revisit it later on and add some skulls and perhaps a couple of daemons... maybe a small pool of blood. But that'll be a project for another day.

Thanks Apoc. Copy away. I'm pretty sure I've nicked quite a few of the ideas for this myself, although I can no longer remember from where. I originally purchased the Necropolis to use with the Khornate Imperator Caligula but never managed to make it look right, so eventually it just ended up sittin...

Thanks Yeah. Essentially I just experimented with various washes over a white undercoat. Some interesting results might be achieved with a semigloss varnish first to seal the surface, but that is a project for another day. Colors used were the now discontinued Vile Green, Hawk Turqoise and and almos...

Also finished some Daemonettes and Silver Towers. Various models like the Lord of Battles and Tzeentch fliers got their colors freshened up a bit as well. Finally I repainted my Tzeentch daemons. I've never really been able to get a satisfactory result on these particular models. Not sure if these a...

Here's the finished result. I think the red might have to be toned back down a bit. I also switched turrets on some of my old World Eaters Predators and added some brass etched Chorne Symbols to them as well as some old school Land Raiders, where they seem to fit perfectly and adds a bit of crist de...

An alternative option is to drop the VTOL theme altogether and just add some regulaar engines at the rear.

Working through my old Khorne stuff I decided to give my Thunderbrick transporters a quick overhaul using various EW bitz. In game terms they are probably going to count as Dreadclaw Assault Shuttles or an early pattern Thunderhawk. I am a bit unsure if I should add the frontal engine fans (as seen ...

Thanks. I am not completely sure about the choice of blade colors on Fulgrim but that can always be revised at a later date :)

Fulgrim and some Tzeentch units. Painted up some more, but they look the same + a few traditional discriders.

Revisiting some of my old Chaos Stuff. My Tzeentch and Slaanesh factions have been sitting half painted for 10 years, so I figured it was about time to finish some of those units. First up is a couple of Warmaster Greater Daemons.

I was looking through my old stuff when I came across this old project I'd completely forgotten about. I think I only ever posted a few teasers, so here's what's painted so far. I think this was started back in '05 or something like that. Way before 3D-printed miniatures anyway. The idea was that ev...

I've been meaning to do a beginner's guide to quick and easy painting in 6mm. Obviously it depends a lot on what army you want to paint, as some techniques are more suited to particular armies than other (For instance: Orks or Chaos can look gritty, and are extremely forgiving to paint, while Eldar ...

It would be nice with a guide for speed painting each major race. Obviously some schemes are impossible to speed paint, but it would give players the option of at least one quick scheme for their chosen race, if they just want some miniatures on the table in a hurry. Brainstorming easy schemes: Nurg...
