I'm about to start basing up my Chaos Space Marine centuries and I was wondering what people do for the (NetEpic) 1000 Sons Automatons?  I've tried carving the head off a beaky marine and drilling a hole (for that hollow look) but it's not that convincing.  Any ideas?

Thought I might as well post this seperately.  I need 5 more of the IG seated autocannon guardsman from the E40K sprue to do a heavy co. of them.  Can trade rocket teams or Catachans from the same sprue, or some selected E40K Chaos, or even a stand or two of Termagants or Gargoyles.

I have about a half a sprue worth leftover from making Cultist stands. ?I could swap you 5 for 5 of the seated Autocannon guardsman from the same sprue. ?Just 5 more and I can do a full heavy company of them....

He lists postage as UK only.  I've long since stopped bothering to ask these listers if they'll send to Australia...I just figure their loss.  Do we want to try and engineer a joint bid?

I'd be interested in these: 10 x Infantry sprues (these are not all complete) Landing Craft (some work as been done on this to remove mold lines etc) 1 x Terminators 2 x Scouts As part trade I have some decently painted WHFB Black Orcs (10 including command IIRC...look kinda like the current BOs wit...

I always thought they took GWs Epic sillyness to a new extreme. ?The Mars was a decent vehicle game wise, but they always were a prime target for CC attacks and died horribly.

I kinda liked the Mk2 Warlord (excellent for Chaos conversions) so I have more of them than beetlebacks.....but the numbers are only 4 and 3     5.5 reavers, 0 Warhounds, 2 Imperator, 4 Subjagator, 2 Questor, 1 Gravedigger, 4 Phantoms, 1 Warlock, 6 Revenants (2 of each). Oh, and the point ...

Reavers always were a better investment under SM2 rules, and the Tl "3 for the price of 2" deal made them awesome.  Warlords would have been better if they didn't have the head and the reactor locations out front....
